Fortune 500 Arabia: Qatar

Fortune Arabia has unveiled the Fortune 500 Arabia, which ranks the Arab region's 500 largest corporations. Qatar secured the fifth spot on this list, boasting 36 companies within its borders. The inaugural edition of this ranking featured the top 500 companies hailing from 22 different Arab countries. In an official statement, the company announced, "Fortune 500 Arabia made its debut in 2023, becoming a part of the prestigious global Fortune 500 lists published by Fortune magazine in the United States since 1955." Last year, the collective revenues disclosed in Fortune 500 Arabia amounted to approximately 1.6 trillion US dollars, while net profits soared to 343 billion US dollars.
